Privacy Policy

This covers hedgehood.app, docs.hedgehood.app and the other interfaces Hedgehood publishes (together, "the Interface").
The short version
There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers on the Interface. We do not ask for your name, your email or any document. What is unavoidable is the technical record of a request reaching a server, the wallet address you choose to connect or look up, and the fact that everything you do on chain is public forever — by the chain's design, not ours.
What we do not collect
- No accounts. Nothing to register, no password, no email address.
- No cookies. The Interface sets none, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
- No analytics or advertising. No Google Analytics, no pixels, no session recording, no ad networks, no cross-site identifiers. We do not build profiles and we do not sell or rent data, because we do not have any to sell.
- No documents. We run no identity check, so no ID is ever uploaded or stored.
What is processed, and why
Request metadata. Serving a page means a server sees your IP address, your browser's user agent, the page you asked for and the time. Cloudflare serves the Interface and its API sits behind Cloudflare too, so this data is processed by Cloudflare as our infrastructure provider and in short-lived operational logs used to keep the service running, debug it and defend it from abuse. We do not use it to identify you.
Your wallet address. Connecting a wallet tells the Interface your public address so it can read your balances and positions. Asking for your own positions sends that address to our read API. An address is pseudonymous, but it is not anonymous: anyone can look it up on a block explorer, and if it is publicly tied to you, so is its activity. Connecting is always your choice, and nothing on the Interface requires it except the parts that act for you.
What you store yourself. The Interface keeps a few things in your browser's local storage, on your device, readable only by it and never sent to us: your language choice, a cached copy of data it has already fetched so pages reopen quickly, the closedFun rollout cohort, and whatever your wallet library stores to reconnect you. Clearing your browser data clears all of it.
The chain is public, and permanent
Every transaction you sign — a deposit, a borrow, a repayment, a swap, a vote, a payout you receive — is written to Robinhood Chain, where it is public, permanent and outside anyone's control, including ours. We cannot edit it, hide it or delete it. Payout rounds, for example, are published so that anyone can check them, and that necessarily includes the addresses that were paid.
Treat on-chain activity as permanently public before you sign, because after that no privacy policy can help.
Third parties you reach through the Interface
- Your wallet, and WalletConnect if you connect through it — their own terms and privacy policies apply.
- RPC providers (public Robinhood Chain endpoints) see the read requests your browser makes, including your address when it is part of a query.
- Cloudflare, which serves the site and proxies the API.
- Sites we link to — the block explorer, Pons, X, the launch page. Following a link takes you to someone else's privacy practices.
We do not share data with anyone for marketing, and we have nothing to share for it.
Your rights
Because we do not build accounts or profiles, there is normally nothing held about you to export or erase. If you believe we hold personal data about you and you want it seen to — access, correction, deletion, or an objection to processing — contact us and we will do what we can with what exists, which for anything already on chain is nothing.
Children
The Interface is not for anyone under the age at which they can lawfully use it where they are, and we do not knowingly process children's data.
